3D Steps

Welcome to the exciting world of 3D printing.

3D printing is now a mainstream manufacturing technology. Global additive manufacturing revenue reached $24.2 billion in 2025, up 10.9% from 2024, according to the Wohlers Report 2026. The industry has matured: companies use it to make real production parts, tools and prototypes in aerospace, automotive, healthcare and consumer products, and they need people who can design, operate and improve these processes.

Come and learn with us how to use 3D printers, how to design 3D objects, how to build your own 3D printer.

We are offering 3D printing classes in Central New Jersey. Working with local schools and at our location, we are helping kids to get involved in 3D design and 3D printing.

Through our multi STEP program, our students will be involved in new age art, architecture or engineering. Will learn professional CAD systems.

Along the way our students build skills that industry looks for:

• 3D modeling and CAD design
• Operating, assembling and maintaining 3D printers
• Electronics and programming (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python)
• Engineering thinking: designing, testing and improving a project

Step 1 – learn basics.

Summer camps and introductory classes. You will learn basic 3D printer operations and start designing in tinkerCAD.

Step 2 – Intermediate.

From tinkerCAD to professional CAD systems.

Step 3 – Advanced.

Create complex engineering/art systems. Advanced students join the multi-year 3D Steps Club, where teams work on projects that run for 8 months. Example projects:

• Self-driving car
• Pick and place robot
• Quadcopter
